Desert Kintsugi- Framed

$230.00

This framed original mixed media work (8x10) was made in Joshua Tree, CA where I had the revelation that deserts bloom. I used purple and gold hues to reflect the colors I saw around me. I also tied into the work the lyrics from John Mark McMillan’s song the Road, the Rocks, and the Weeds. The concept hidden in the work is that blooming comes with pressure and it can happen out of pain and in surprising ways.
